New Caledonia Maps

A New Caledonia and Noumea map reveals 1,200 kilometres of coral reef lying off shore. New Caledonia has one main island, the Grande Terre, and several much smaller islands. Grande Terre is the only mountainous island and covers an area more then 16,000 km². It is very long in shape and is 50-70km wide and 350km long. Mountains run the length of Grande Terre and 5 peaks are over 1500m high.

Besides enjoying the mainland New Caledonia beaches and surf, the tranquil Loyalty Islands, the Isle of Pines and Grande Terre are within an easy boat ride.
